Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Technician or Technologist at Dunn Marino Associates in Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to architectural technology, technical drawing, construction drawings, architecture, and computer-aided design (CAD). The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Creating construction drawings using Autocad or Revit
  • Developing and implementing architectural designs
  • Collaborating with the design team to ensure project deliverables
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices


Requirements

  • Architectural Technology and Technical Drawing skills
  • Experience in creating construction drawings ideally using either Autocad or Revit
  • Knowledge of architecture principles and practices
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 4+ years of experience in residential construction
  • HND, BSc in Architectural Technology or Part 2 qualified Architect
