Mechanical Assembly Specialist - Water Sector

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, they are enhancing their field teams and seeking skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialists capable of managing tasks within their project portfolio.

For qualified Mechanical Assembly Specialists, there are opportunities to engage in stimulating projects throughout the Midlands. You will play a crucial role in the successful execution of mechanical projects while having access to further training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general mechanical tasks
  • Install mechanical apparatus such as motors, gearboxes, and bearings
  • Assemble steel support structures
  • Diagnose issues with mechanical equipment, identify root causes of malfunctions, whether they arise unexpectedly or during scheduled maintenance, and develop effective solutions.
  • Tasks may vary, and you may occasionally assist Electricians or Civil Engineers.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Mechanical Apprenticeship / Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting or equivalent
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid certification – preferred
  • Confined Space training – preferred
  • Prior experience in an industrial setting
  • Valid Driver's License
Compensation Package:
  • £17.50 per hour (base rate)
  • 40-hour standard week – all additional hours paid at overtime rates
  • Travel time compensated - Engineers can achieve earnings exceeding £50k
  • Fully covered company vehicle
  • All expenses reimbursed
