Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to manage and support the development of Clinical Pharmacy and Medicines Management initiatives across the Trust.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialized clinical pharmacy services.
  • Directly manage and supervise the professional services and activities carried out by clinical pharmacists and trainee pharmacists, technicians and support staff, to wards and departments.
  • Ensure that at all times standards are maintained, particularly with respect to statutory professional and legal requirements, to ensure that a high quality service is provided in a consistent and equitable manner to all service users.
About the Role

This pharmacist will have a great opportunity to develop their specialist clinical skills within pharmacy and various clinical specialities. There is a strong focus on staff as individuals, with the aim of enabling all staff to reach their full potential and share with others the great work they do.

Requirements
  • Registered with the GPhC.
  • Completion of the first year of a clinical diploma.
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Evidence of further education/training in clinical practice.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
  • Membership of other speciality groups UKCPA.
On-Call Commitments

As part of this post, you will be expected to partake in on-call commitments. Bolton is one of only a few trusts who still follow Whitley pay for on-call.
