Position Overview:

We are looking for a Lead HR Business Partner to become an integral part of a large and multifaceted professional services organization. This position serves as the strategic liaison with the business on all matters related to human resources and will be a key member of the leadership team, facilitating and driving the people strategy while fostering organizational change.

This role encompasses two distinct client segments within the advisory division of the firm. One segment focuses on high-volume transactional services, while the other deals with intricate corporate finance matters. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to adapt their approach based on the specific needs of each segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translating the overarching business strategy into actionable deliverables from a human resources perspective, collaborating with the broader HR team and various business functions, as well as centers of excellence to implement HR initiatives.
  • Engaging with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive support across all areas of human resources, including talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Assisting business functions during a transformative period, focusing on organizational development and change management.
  • Establishing the framework and methodology for key cyclical HR activities, ensuring alignment with the business strategy.
  • Championing the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda by integrating initiatives throughout all human resources activities.
  • Overseeing a team of two HR Business Partners.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within a complex matrix organization, preferably in financial or professional services, supporting client-facing advisory groups.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of HR Business Partnering, including talent acquisition, succession planning, restructuring, annual compensation processes, employee relations, and case management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement HR initiatives and changes in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • A pragmatic and commercially-focused approach to human capital solutions.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills.
