Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker or Development Underwriter to join our market-leading broking team and sales support function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional risk advice and mitigation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Work closely with our broking team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in commercial insurance to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with our sales support function to ensure seamless delivery of risk advice and mitigation services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, applying your knowledge to inform business decisions and drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker or Development Underwriter, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent client liaison and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of our clients and business.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to achieve the Cert CII qualification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
