Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive records of material inventory and in-transit materials to guarantee availability within specified timelines.
  • Establish optimal stock levels for consumables, tools, and safety equipment to facilitate engineering operations.
  • Source and procure materials and consumables to uphold necessary inventory levels and fulfill specific requirements.
  • Ensure storage facilities are organized and secure, with materials properly stacked and racking systems routinely inspected for safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with on-site material users to confirm adequate stock levels, arrange transportation, and ensure sufficient space for returning materials.
  • Supervise the work of laborers, drivers, storekeepers, and other personnel to ensure timely and accurate material placement.
  • Implement essential safety protocols and ensure adherence to established rules and procedures.
  • Facilitate proper storage and handling of hazardous materials, ensuring environmental protection measures are in place.
