Job Description

Brightwork Ltd is seeking a skilled Fruit Preservation Specialist to join their team. As a leading player in the FMCG industry, our client is looking for a professional who can optimize the ripening process of fresh produce.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ripen produce in accordance with customer demand to ensure optimal quality and freshness.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Liaise with external hauliers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of produce.
  • Conduct regular intake checks to monitor produce quality and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the fresh produce industry is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • IT literacy to navigate and utilize relevant software and systems.
  • Experience working in a production or stock control environment is advantageous.
