We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Endocrinology and Diabetes team at The Diabetes Times.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in General Internal Medicine and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and care pathways to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients, and emergency departments.
- Provide leadership and support to junior medical colleagues, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with colleagues in tertiary centers, community services, and primary care.
- CCT or equivalent (CESR) in Endocrinology and Diabetes.
- Proven experience in General Internal Medicine.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
