Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Premier Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a well-established accountancy company in Dartford to recruit for an experienced and forward-thinking Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position that offers a challenging and varied role with opportunities for progression.

Job Summary:

  • Record and process transactions via data entry into the ledger, ensuring accurate coding and posting to the correct account.
  • Raise sales invoices monthly and send to clients.
  • Maintain the aged creditor account and chase up late payments.
  • Maintain records and ledgers.
  • Reconcile client accounts and bank at the end of each month.
  • Maintain and manage the filing system both manually and electronically.
  • Handle client enquiries.

Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working in a busy finance environment, meeting targets and deadlines, and possessing a keen attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with accounting software, such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks, is highly desirable.
