About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Aspire Jobs Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer accounts, including credit control, invoicing, and payment processing
  • Review and analyze customer creditworthiness, setting and suggesting appropriate credit limits
  • Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly and efficiently
  • Produce and distribute customer overdue/reminder letters
  • Proactively manage new accounts and high-value invoices
  • Hold weekly meetings with sales divisions to escalate key issues and agree on ways to move forward
  • Build effective relationships and rapport with customers and internal contacts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Provide cover within the finance team as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience in credit control and customer service
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient in IT, including Excel, Outlook, and accounting software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high volume of workload
  • Team player with a proactive and self-motivated approach
