Credit Controller

We are partnering with a highly successful business in the UK to find an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of existing B2B customers and collect due and overdue debts via phone and email.
- Build effective relationships with clients, communicating via phone and email to resolve queries and ascertain payment within agreed terms.
- Attend weekly meetings with the sales team to escalate invoice queries.
- Reconcile customer accounts to log payments and identify discrepancies.
- Set up new customers, conduct credit checks, and review credit levels for existing customers.
- Produce and distribute customer statements of account, overdue and reminder letters.
- Produce and circulate weekly and ad hoc on-stop, credit updates, and other reports.
- Proactively manage new accounts and high-value invoices.
- Educate significant issues/concerns to management.
- Month-end consolidated invoicing.
Requirements:
- Must have experience as a Credit Controller or held a role which includes Credit Control and be looking for a full-time Credit Controller position.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels via phone and email.
- Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and have worked with Accounting Software.
- An excellent attitude towards customer service.
- Proactive and organized individual.
