About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and providing skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the NMC code of conduct
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an allocated patient group, considering individual needs and prioritizing tasks
  • Advocating for patients and contributing to the development of nursing practice, including supervising junior nurses and support staff
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Child or Adult)
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to professional development
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Teaching, mentoring, and assessing qualifications
  • Relevant post-basic registration courses
  • Post-registration experience in paediatric speciality
  • Mentorship experience
  • Adult or Paediatric Critical Care experience
