Position Overview:
Bentham Science is on the lookout for experienced professionals to join our team as Editorial Board Members for our esteemed journal, The Open COVID Journal.
Role Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the journal's direction by offering expert insights, including the selection of relevant topics, reviewers, and authors.
- Initiate and contribute to Special Thematic Issues on current trends (minimum one thematic issue annually) or,
- Submit comprehensive review articles in your field of expertise (at least biannually).
Candidate Profile:
- PhD holder with a robust background in Virology, Infectious Diseases, and research pertaining to Coronaviruses and the COVID-19 pandemic.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and authoring scholarly articles.
- Documented history of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
