Join a leading player in the UK logistics sector as a Logistics Operations Manager. A valid National and International CPC Transport Management qualification is a prerequisite.

We seek candidates with a strong background in Commercial Transport Management, particularly in a client-focused environment. Your analytical capabilities will be crucial in leveraging data-driven insights to improve operational performance and ensure compliance.

Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential for effective communication and data handling.

Familiarity with EU Drivers' Hours and the Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation is necessary to maintain regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting daily risk assessments in both yard and office settings to uphold safety measures and identify potential risks.
  • Overseeing Tachograph compliance, utilizing analysis to generate insightful reports and initiate necessary actions.
  • Identifying instances of CPC non-compliance and reporting findings to the National Transport Manager.
  • Managing payroll for the depot, including agency bookings, overtime, and pay inquiries while effectively forecasting staffing needs.
