Chesterfield College is seeking a skilled and experienced Work Based Tutor to join our team in the Construction School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach, mentor, and assess Bricklayer/Groundwork Apprenticeships and NVQs
- Manage a caseload of learners through all elements of their Apprenticeship Standard or NVQ
- Liaise with internal colleagues for completion of other aspects such as Functional Skills
- Provide advice and guidance to learners and employers
Requirements:
- Current and relevant occupational competence in Brick and/or Groundwork occupations
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1 Award, IQAM)
- Teacher qualification and internal verifier award (V1 Award or TAQA 401)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel
- Driving license and own vehicle
