The expanding team has successfully executed intricate projects both in the UK and internationally across various sectors, catering to a dedicated client base.
Role Summary:
As a Lead Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee substantial and intricate projects, provide guidance to junior engineers, and enhance technical proficiency within a vibrant and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale projects (including RIBA Stage 4 & 5 packages, renovations of existing structures, and external wall assessments) while collaborating with a team of engineers and receiving support from the project manager as necessary.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to commercial risk management and prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of all team members.
- Supervise the engineering team and provide support to senior management (i.e., Associate level and above).
- Ensure alignment with client values in all aspects of work.
- Contribute to technical excellence by possessing a comprehensive understanding of design standards and engineering principles across various sectors, applied both internally and externally.
- Generate a significant portion of the work required to meet team objectives while fostering effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to promote teamwork and staff wellbeing, including reviewing and providing feedback on the work of junior engineers.
