Role Summary
We are excited to present an opportunity for an LGV Driver C+E Low Loader to become a vital part of our team.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your primary role will involve transporting heavy machinery and equipment to various construction sites, surfacing initiatives, and general road maintenance operations across the UK. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Transporting loads in STGO environments, including abnormal loads under escort.
- Utilizing delivery systems via tablet for work allocation and confirmation.
- Ensuring the safety and security of loads during transport.
- Communicating effectively with team members and site personnel regarding deliveries and collections.
- Managing driving and working hours in compliance with all regulations.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Valid LGV C+E License.
- Previous experience in transporting plant equipment.
- A valid Digital Tacho Card.
While not mandatory, experience with STGO CAT2 and Plant Operator qualifications would be advantageous.
