Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures to ensure accurate and complete month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure accurate and complete month-end processes
- Prepare monthly direct costs and overheads cost report
- Prepare material cost reports and investigate standard cost variances
- Support with budgeting and business planning activities
- Regular liaison with budget holders to review costs against budget
- Analysis of key trends and highlighting these to senior management
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc projects as required
- Ensure appropriate financial and internal controls are in place as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar level Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering position, ideally with knowledge of a manufacturing or product-based business. Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is required, and strong communication and business partnering skills are essential. Strong IT skills, including Excel, are also necessary, as you will be using complex models and spreadsheets, handling large data volumes.
