Your New Role as Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner at Kenton Black Ltd, you will work closely with the senior finance lead and be part of a friendly team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures to ensure accurate and complete month-end processes
  • Preparing monthly direct costs and overheads cost reports
  • Preparing material cost reports and investigating standard cost variances
  • Supporting budgeting and business planning activities
  • Regular liaison with budget holders to review costs against budget
  • Analysis of key trends and highlighting these to senior management
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects as required
  • Ensuring appropriate financial and internal controls are in place as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in a similar Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering position, ideally with knowledge of a manufacturing or product-based business. You will hold a full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification and possess strong communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary. Strong IT skills, including Excel, are also essential, as you will be working with complex models and spreadsheets handling large data volumes.
