About the Company:
Lanesra Technical Recruitment is a prominent provider of integrated design and construction solutions within the water industry.
With a workforce exceeding 1,000 professionals across multiple regional offices, the company primarily supports long-term frameworks in the water sector, often collaborating in joint ventures and alliances.
Position Overview:
We are seeking to enhance our Commercial team by recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and a Quantity Surveyor for a flagship water treatment initiative located near Southampton.
This project is currently in the early contractor involvement/design phase, with various tasks scheduled through to 2030. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant project valued at £150 million.
In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be entrusted with managing several key accounts associated with this large-scale project.
- Preparation of applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliations.
- Assisting in Risk and Value Management to enhance solutions and conducting regular reviews with the project team.
- Contract Management, encompassing all relevant contractual documentation, budgetary control methods, and applicable software tools.
- Identifying and reporting safety risk situations to site management.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Experience working with a main contractor.
- Experience in the Water (Non-Infrastructure) sector is desirable.
