About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Velonetic, a leading provider of digital solutions for the London Market insurance industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical personnel, conducting in-depth analyses of market dynamics, internal business goals, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Improvement: Plan, design, and recommend business processes to improve and support business activities.
  • Client Requirements Analysis: Analyze and document clients' business requirements and processes, and communicate these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models.
  • System Development: Create test scenarios and develop test plans to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
  • Facilitation and Coordination: Facilitate meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
  • Project Support: Assist in coordinating business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide support to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Moderate experience of business analysis, with a focus on the London Market insurance industry.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of London Market systems and claims and/or premium submission processes, as well as experience working with digital transformation projects.
