We are seeking an experienced Estate Agency Director to lead our national network of 14 offices across Scotland. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing staff, and developing our estate agency model.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and indirect management of our national network of 14 offices across Scotland, including major cities such as Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, and Stirling.
- Managing the staffing solution, including recruitment, training, and regular one-to-ones with managers and key estate agency staff.
- Developing, managing, and promoting our estate agency model both externally and internally.
- Liaising with the management team and partners to agree annual budgets, targets, and monetary controls.
- Working with partners and managers to deliver pre-agreed targets and develop growth and market share across all regions.
- Motivating and encouraging estate agency staff to perform to the highest standards and meet professional expectations.
- Managing the collation of regular MI reports and reporting on monthly and annual performance to branch managers, partners, and the management team.
- Organising and reporting on half-yearly mystery audits across the office network.
- Ensuring full adherence to our risk management, regulatory, and compliance controls and processes.
- Bonding and supporting other areas of the business closely linked with estate agency, including conveyancing, mortgages, and leasing.
- Contributing to essential internal meetings, including front-line solicitor meetings, national branch manager meetings, staff and salary review meetings, and campaign and strategy marketing meetings.
- Marketing, bringing awareness of competitors' activities and tools needed to compete and stay ahead in the marketplace.
- Ensuring adherence and development across the office network of our preferred systems and processes.
- Managing supplier relationships essential to the running of the business, including Reapit, property portals, solicitor property centres, and residential surveyors.
- Representing the firm as a recognised expert in residential property, liaising with our PR team, and providing comment or opinion on various matters.
- Discussing, agreeing, and assisting with the implementation of new policies to improve working conditions for staff and teams across the network.
- Representing the firm at business events, client and supplier events, and networking opportunities.
