Job Description

**Business Development Manager - Corporate Events & Incentives**

We are seeking a driven and personable Sales Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for capitalizing on leads and enquiries from European clients, building relationships with key clients, and securing new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality presentations and briefings to potential customers
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to provide accurate briefings on client requirements and project details
  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients and new accounts
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing business customers, manage leads, and maintain a comprehensive CRM database
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and utilize social media platforms for networking and lead generation
  • Attend and organize Fam trips, industry events, and trade shows to promote the company's offerings, build brand recognition, and generate leads
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the Event and Travel industry and monitor competitor developments
  • Maintain regular, documented contact with the existing customer base, building relationships, and securing new accounts
  • Develop and implement best practices in business development and client servicing
  • Network at industry events and trade shows to generate leads and build relationships

Requirements:

  • Experience within the inbound/DMC market for Europe in sales relationship and target/commission drive role
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

What We Offer:

  • Starting salary of £30-35k pa dependent on experience
  • Uncapped commission on the net value of projects
