Job Title: Data Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Team Leader to join our team at McCormick UK Limited. As a key member of our Materials Team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of materials management strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Own the materials inventory level to guarantee the balance between service level and cash, in line with business yearly targets.
  2. Leadership and Oversight: Provide leadership and oversight to all facets of the Haddenham raw materials, including materials purchasing planning, product life cycle change management, disposals, risk and SLOB management and master data governance.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to working practices to improve efficiency, performance and reliability in the materials planning processes.
  4. Strategic Planning: Responsible for the tactical and strategic factory materials and inventory plans, set targets, manage year on year stock value / inventory turnover improvements to support UK Supply Chain targets.
  5. Team Development: Oversee development and coaching of departmental team members.
  6. Bench Strength: Build bench strength in materials management, using SAP MRP.
  7. Representation: Represent Materials planning on local, regional and global projects, with regard to Commercialization, CCI and engineering changes.
  8. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationship with NPD, procurement and supply functions in order to ensure that the monthly planning cycle delivers for the business and has the right level of governance across the end to end process.
  9. Capacity and Supply Gap: Identify from the long term plan any capacity or supply gap and inventory strategy.
  10. Service Level Execution: Develop and own Service Level execution agreement with key strategic supplier to drive cost, cash, service performance.
  11. Capability Framework: Implement Material Supply Management Capability framework including materials strategic master planning.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or a related business field.
  2. International Experience: Ability and experience in working internationally, across multiple business units.
  3. SAP Experience: Experience of working with SAP and associated business systems.
  4. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations and solutions.
  5. FMCG Experience: FMCG Experience.
  6. Project Management: Project Management.
  7. Change Management: Change Management.
  8. Creative Thinking: Creative thinker, actively challenging the status quo.
  9. Adaptability: Ability to thrive on continual change and come up with new ideas to create business improvements and growth opportunities.
