About the Role

As an HVDC Operations & Maintenance Planner at National Grid Interconnectors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) transmission system. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading energy company and contribute to the development of a more sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize tasks, and assign resources as needed.
  • Monitor and track system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
About You
  • Proven experience in a maintenance planning or coordination role, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Strong understanding of HVDC transmission systems and maintenance principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
