A fantastic opportunity has emerged with our esteemed client, a reputable entity in the professional services sector.
They are in search of a proficient Bookkeeper to join their workforce. In this capacity, you will be tasked with the precise documentation of all financial activities, encompassing purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Your responsibilities will involve consistently entering data into accounting journals/software and reconciling accounts to ensure precision.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in Xero is a must
- Prior experience in a comparable role
- Strong communication abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Competent in Microsoft Office Excel
- Courteous and attentive demeanor
- Capability to work independently
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing expenses and conducting bank reconciliations
- Managing petty cash
- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts while entering data into accounting software
- Maintaining records and generating reports and financial statements
- Updating and managing the general ledger
- Handling general office tasks and supplies
- Managing the telephone system
- Welcoming and assisting visitors
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
* 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
- Annual leave increases by 1 day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days
