Join Our Team as a Business Intelligence Developer

As a key member of the Alcumus Business Intelligence Team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our global Business Intelligence visualization platform. This platform enables the business to access information and insights on demand, driving informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, insightful, and innovative dashboards and reports to drive action from insights.
  • Develop first-class Business Intelligence reporting solutions that meet customer requirements, from requirements gathering to solution design, testing, and iterative development.
  • Own the Power BI delivery and continuous development of our suite of Business Intelligence applications, evolving to meet the needs of our business.
  • Maintain and evolve the Business Intelligence suite for optimal performance, working closely with Data Engineers to develop data warehouse solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve, and communicate in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide support and expertise to our clients on the optimal use of Power BI.
  • Promote the wider use of data and analytics across the business, aligning with the vision and values of the Business Intelligence Team.
  • Provide progress reporting and updates across the business through appropriate meetings around BAU and projects.
  • Support other projects as required and collaborate with the wider Business Intelligence Team and other areas of the business.
  • Continuously identify and deliver improvements in the reporting and visualization process.

Requirements:

  • Significant MS Power BI development experience, including DAX.
  • Excellent data visualization skills.
  • Experience in data modeling and understanding of data warehousing.
  • Experience with Agile working.
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
