Compensation: £17.41 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the educational rights of children in care to enhance their academic experiences and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with social workers, educational institutions, and other professionals to ensure regular and impactful PEP meetings aimed at improving academic performance.
  • Provide training sessions and telephone support for social workers and designated teachers utilizing the ePEP system, a specialized database for PEP management.
  • Maintain the accuracy and currency of the PEP database, managing user access as necessary.
  • Support the Virtual School team in delivering comprehensive quality assurance of PEPs to fulfill all statutory obligations.

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or equivalent experience demonstrating a similar level of knowledge in research, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Experience working in educational settings or children’s social care.
  • A valid driving license and readiness to travel between various locations.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate availability or readiness to start on short notice is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is essential.
  • This position necessitates an enhanced DBS check.
