Job Title: Fire & Security Business Development Director

Marlowe Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive growth and expansion in the fire and security industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions and services.
  • Represent the company's brand and sell fire and security products within an allocated geographical area, ensuring achievement of agreed targets.
  • Manage the existing client base and focus on retention and development of each account in an assigned geographical area.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the fire and security industry, generating new sales opportunities for all Marlowe Fire & Security products.
  • Attend appointments to sell the company's products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction of service delivery and representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Collate appropriate information to present performance data and ensure all correct documentation is utilised.
  • Constant attainment of agreed targets based upon a mix of new business, existing business, and additional revenue streams.
  • Conduct fire and security audits at client's premises and generate recommendations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
  • Build and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and technicians, to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the fire and security industry.
  • A strong network of contacts and relationships within the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of fire and security solutions and technologies.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Benefits:
  • Basic Salary - £65,000 Subject to experience
  • On Target Earnings - Circa £110,000
