eRostering Coordinator

Position Overview: This role presents a valuable opportunity to enhance the effective administration of our workforce by overseeing the maintenance and utilization of our rostering solutions as part of the newly formed eRostering Team. The eRostering Coordinator will be instrumental in managing our eRostering system (Allocate Optima), ensuring that staff and shift details are updated promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end users in maximizing the efficiency of the eRostering System through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to extract and format data from various systems for analytical purposes.
- Apply knowledge of working time regulations to assist managers in resolving roster-related issues.
Qualifications: While prior experience in database management or rota creation is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this position.
Work Environment: Our team operates in a hybrid model, allowing the successful candidate the flexibility to work from home or in the office as deemed appropriate. Regular in-person team meetings and development sessions will be held, thus this position cannot be performed entirely remotely.
Training and Development: On the first day, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive training program to familiarize themselves with NHS Scotland's operational practices and the eRostering system. This will include progression through the Allocate Academy Accreditation Scheme to Roster Administrator Level.
Employment Details: This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, offering 51.5 hours with various hour options considered, starting from a minimum of 14.5 hours per week. Candidates are encouraged to specify their preferred hours in their application.
Important Note: The salary for this position does not meet the minimum requirement for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
