Position Overview: This role presents a valuable opportunity to enhance the effective management of our personnel through the upkeep and utilization of our rostering solutions, as part of our newly formed eRostering Team. The eRostering Coordinator will be instrumental in overseeing our eRostering system (Allocate Optima), ensuring that staff and shift details are updated promptly.
Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling them to assist end users in maximizing the benefits of the eRostering System. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for extracting data from the utilized systems and formatting it for analytical purposes. Familiarity with working time regulations would be beneficial in aiding managers to navigate roster-related challenges.
Qualifications: Previous experience in roles related to database management or rota development would be advantageous, though not mandatory for this position.
Work Environment: Our team operates in a hybrid model, allowing the successful candidate the flexibility to work from home or in the office as preferred. Regular in-person team meetings and development sessions are held, thus this position cannot be conducted entirely remotely.
Training and Development: The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive training program from day one, designed to provide insights into NHS Scotland's operational practices and the functionalities of the eRostering system. This will include progression through the Allocate Academy Accreditation Scheme to Roster Administrator Level.
Contract Details: This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with 51.5 hours available. Various hour arrangements will be considered, with a minimum of 14.5 hours per week. Candidates are encouraged to specify their preferred hours in their application.
