About the Role

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing business sales and profitability budgets through the initiation and development of new footwear product ranges to meet the commercial requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage new footwear product ranges to meet business requirements and customer needs.
  • Ensure awareness of customer business requirements and plans to maximize opportunities for further business growth.
  • Control and manage costs within agreed budget levels, including travel, samples, and sample freight costs.
  • Evaluate and interpret market trends to drive new material and component development.
  • Negotiate cost and selling prices of products in line with agreed targets.
  • Monitor and control costs of operating the Product Team Design functions within budgeted expenditure levels.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build positive relationships with customers.
  • Assume general responsibility for all account activity and qualitative/timely delivery of agreed assignments.
  • Compile and contribute to the development of effective design briefs.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of basic design principles and B2B or B2C service level processes.
  • Effectively manage conflict or disagreements with confidence.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and company procedural framework.
Requirements
  • Fashion footwear background gained from within a similar environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate strength, confidence, agility, and determination in assuming control of all related projects.
  • Ability to think laterally and quickly, ensuring the process is managed and delivered on time.
  • Possess demonstrable organization and time management skills.
  • Display a positive mental attitude and ability to work in a team or on own.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences.
  • Dexterous and agile.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Patient, passionate, and willing to impart knowledge on others.
