About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Support Specialist to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our Aftermarket Sales and Service Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support and service to our national and international customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Manage and monitor parts returned for repairs, exchange units, and invoicing customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Administer Service Engineers' paperwork to ensure all hours, materials, and follow-ups are actioned through to invoicing.
  • Update Maintenance records on Excel spreadsheets to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Meet Work In Progress (WIP) targets and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through a solution-oriented approach, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Promote the usage of our own engineers with customers when required, driving business growth and maximizing sales.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
