We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable individual to assist in the care of complex oncology patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy.

Key Responsibilities

The Healthcare Support Worker will operate under the guidance of a registered healthcare professional or assistant practitioner, delivering personalized care to our patients.

The individual in this role will be tasked with adhering to care plans, documenting observations, and recording the care provided in patient records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Registered Practitioner/Assistant Practitioner in assessing, planning, managing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Performing specific clinical and care tasks to a high standard under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner/Assistant Practitioner.
  • Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
