Talent is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Professional Services group, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and data insights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the operations team, understanding their strategic priorities and information needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities where Business Intelligence can add value and drive business performance.
- Drive the implementation of practical solutions to stakeholder data requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence developers and analysts to design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence solutions (dashboards, reports, self-service analytics) that meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across Business Intelligence solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Business Intelligence tools and techniques.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex information in an easily understandable format.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's Business Intelligence strategy.
- Ensure data quality and compliance through adherence to data governance policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Business Intelligence and data analytics.
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, data analysis, or similar role, demonstrating excellent stakeholder relationship management, business acumen, and analytical skills.
- Consultancy experience working on change management and process mapping.
- Proficient in Excel, and experience using power-query to access real-time data.
- Proficiency in relevant Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS) and SQL.
- Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of Tableau and Databricks, along with related technologies for data processing, visualization, and collaboration.
- Experience with data modeling, ELT processes, and data warehousing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Passion for data and its potential to drive business success.
