Job Description Summary

GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to support the execution of HVDC projects in Europe. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Project Controls to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.

The HVDC Project Controller will be responsible for planning and costing HVDC scope of work, as well as developing and maintaining project schedules. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and influencing abilities, and proficiency in Primavera.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using established tools and processes.
  • Ensure proper linkages in schedule to show all interdependencies between contributing parties.
  • Work collaboratively with the overall project planning team to ensure optimal alignment of schedule with overall schedule.
  • Deliver high-quality schedules aligned with global standards to ensure project accuracy.
  • Provide schedule analysis to forecast schedule risk and opportunities using available tools and experience.
  • Generate what-if scenarios to optimize execution and work with project teams to evaluate feasibility.
  • Provide strategies to mitigate risks and drive functional owners to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills to use data to forecast outcomes.
  • Clear communicator with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera.
  • Cost management skills.
