Key Responsibilities - Automation Engineer
Your primary responsibilities will include programming PLCs from multiple manufacturers, including Schneider, Siemens, Proface, and B&R. You will also collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure the smooth integration of automation technologies.
Ideal Candidate - Automation Engineer
The ideal candidate will possess experience with SIEMENS (Step7, WinCC, TIA portal), SCHNEIDER (PL7, Unity, VijeoDesigner, SoMachine), and B&R (automation studio). Familiarity with frequency drives from DANFOSS, SEW, and SCHNEIDER, as well as HMI systems like Proface, is crucial. Knowledge of robotics, particularly Fanuc, and the ability to interpret schematics using SEE Electrical Expert will be beneficial.
To excel in this position, you should be capable of working independently, demonstrate adaptability in your working hours, and proactively seek effective solutions to technical issues. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating problems and potential solutions to colleagues with varying levels of programming expertise. Additionally, a solid understanding of industry regulations is necessary to ensure compliance in your tasks.
Working Hours & Benefits - Automation Engineer
This role offers flexible working hours, aligned with standard office schedules, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The competitive salary for this position is up to £60,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), with additional compensation for overtime and Sunday work (£36 per hour for overtime and £48 per hour for Sundays).
