Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Florette in Lichfield. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our water treatment plant, ensuring that we remain fully compliant with our permit obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine checks of the plant, including hourly, daily, and weekly checks.
  • Routine checks on the operation of the cooling towers, sampling, and replenishment of chemicals, using the correct escalation procedure in the event of failures.
  • Complete all necessary Preventive Maintenance Programs (PPMs).
  • Advise management of any problems affecting the water treatment plant immediately to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of a Water Treatment Plant.
  • Organisation in relation to supply and control of animal feed.
  • Ability/Confidence to operate a tractor and trailer unit.
  • Legionella and Confined Space Awareness.
  • Observation and recording skills - high level of attention to detail.
