**Job Summary**

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver the department's vision and strategic plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet site Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement within the engineering environment, driving process efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment, promoting a culture of compliance and responsibility.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the planning and execution of capital engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers and stakeholders, building credibility and trust through proactive communication and collaboration.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing, with a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent, with a preference for apprenticeship-trained candidates.
  • Experience with Predictive, Preventive, and Corrective Maintenance (PPM, TPM, and CI) methodologies, as well as CMMS systems.
