Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of the site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 NVQ/C&G qualified in electrical maintenance with hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience if HNC/Degree qualified with no apprenticeship.
  • Competent with motor theory, going into panels, and reading drawings.
  • Siemens PLC experience is a bonus.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of up to £50,000, inclusive of shift premium.
  • 12-hour shifts on a Panama pattern (2's and 3's) with overtime available at applicable rates.
