Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Replenishment Assistant to join our Inventory Management Team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient replenishment of clinical consumables to maintain great availability within the hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and timely replenishment of stock.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical teams and managers to ensure maximum stock availability for patient care.
  • Analyze and investigate issues related to stock availability, supplier late deliveries, or system discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management systems, including NHS Supply Chain, Atticus, and Centros.
  • Conduct inventory stock checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide advice to end-users regarding availability of products, costs, and returns.
  • Support the development of new processes and procedures to improve inventory management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in replenishment or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of NHS policies and strategies, including Data Protection and IG Toolkit requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize workload.
  • Flexibility to work across the Trust as required.
