About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Growth Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the South Coast regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and gain a great understanding of new sales prospects across your region, utilizing your extensive network and market knowledge to identify opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads and win new business, establishing strong and successful long-term business relationships with potential clients.
  • Client Management: Assess client needs, advising of products and services in line with their business requirements, and effectively communicate the value which can be added.
  • Sales Process: Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, achieving clear sales targets and having the hunger to achieve and exceed them.
  • Customer Service: Manage and build a portfolio of customers, providing excellent service throughout, constantly seeking new opportunities to expand the portfolio and look to regain any lost business and generate additional business from the range extensions and own brand.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly sales and growth reports, managing customer expectation on price increases, ensuring business is retained.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively manage supplier partnerships where applicable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the industry sector, with current knowledge of industry market trends, and a natural 'hunter' in approaching any opportunity.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Recognize that customer satisfaction is the key to overall success, drive outstanding customer care, anticipating customer's needs, and identify opportunities for the organisation to expand or enhance its service.
  • Established Network: Established network of industry contacts and potential clients would be advantageous.
