Role Overview

The Project Asset Coordinator is tasked with executing inventory management and planning decisions autonomously, utilizing personal research and judgment. This role involves regular collaboration with Inventory Management, Warehouse departments, Engineering, and Project teams to resolve complex issues and devise creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex tasks and provide functional leadership without direct oversight.
  • Conduct comprehensive inventory analyses and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Assess supply and demand challenges, propose solutions, and initiate actions with minimal supervisory input.
  • Lead teams in planning and problem-solving activities related to inventory management.
  • Analyze processes linked to materials planning and recommend improvements for enhanced outcomes.
  • Maintain frequent communication with Subsea Services Operations Project Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Main Duties

  • Oversee and manage demand for SDS & SPS Tooling across all projects.
  • Develop Tactical Project Execution Plans for clients, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on service order demands and material shortages to relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver initial feedback reports to Operations and internal customers regarding capacity planning and procurement timelines.
  • Communicate critical business events to the Asset Service Manager/Supervisor.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the Asset Services Organization.

Candidate Profile

  • Guyanese National.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ETM (SAP Module).
  • Understanding of Subsea Services Completions Rental processes.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable theories and internal business processes.
  • Ability to identify functional issues and enhance processes to meet organizational challenges.
  • Capability to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to the workshop and other facilities. The position involves some exposure to shop hazards, including noise and heavy machinery. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability to multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

Frequent computer use and sitting. The role may require travel for organizational needs and client interactions.
