Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Coordinator to join our Area Support team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring assets deployed within the region are utilized efficiently, coordinating asset movements, and providing support to locations using our asset systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure locations and support functions are trained in the use of our asset systems.
- Identify underutilized assets and communicate their availability to optimize deployment.
- Search the asset fleet to meet operational demand, working closely with locations to maximize asset utilization.
- Facilitate asset movements between locations, interfacing with Logistics teams as required.
- Monitor accuracy of our asset systems in each location and provide support where needed.
- Ensure all asset count activities are completed in line with company policy and procedures.
- Process assets no longer suitable for operation for disposal using the relevant asset system.
- Provide information on equipment availability as required.
Requirements
- Prior knowledge of asset-related functionality within SAP/ETM is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of Product Line Equipment and their unique attributes.
- Experience of Rental Asset Management in an engineering or oil service company.
