Role Overview

  • Manage relationships with primary third-party suppliers, including haulage providers, to ensure efficient service levels and timely bookings.
  • Oversee the transportation of kegs related to Wellpark production within the TCB logistics framework, including the return of empty kegs from clients and depots.
  • Coordinate the logistics of finished goods transportation linked to Wellpark production into the TCB logistics network.
  • Facilitate the transport of Wellpark-produced stock to TNI and Clonmel.
  • Handle inter-depot stock movements within TCB.
  • Organize inbound logistics from external suppliers into the TCB network.
  • Supervise primary transport for customer deliveries across our GB beer and cider volumes.
  • Optimize vehicle load capacity and achieve on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery targets.
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries to primary customers, ensuring cost-effective return lanes and identifying potential savings.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to the aforementioned operations.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments across the supply chain to ensure all primary movements align with our objectives regarding Health & Safety, Quality, Service, Sustainability, and Cost.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, particularly in a similar capacity.
  • Background in a dynamic and complex distribution environment.
  • A Certificate of Professional Competency is advantageous.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented with a proven history of achieving success.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage challenging workloads.
