Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and has a strong desire to support their learning and development. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to pupils with special educational needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Supporting the whole class setting on occasions
  • Managing the behavior of pupils and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
