Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Effective Energy Solutions is part of the Effective Energy Group, a leading provider of energy and construction services. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
  2. Lead the business performance forecasting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  3. Design and implement data architecture to support reporting and analytics.
  4. Prepare and present financial and non-financial analyses to stakeholders.
  5. Analyze and report on key performance indicators to inform business strategy.
  6. Develop and maintain reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
  7. Identify gaps in data collection processes and implement improvements.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
  1. High level of commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  2. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as data science, business analytics, economics, or mathematics.
  1. Experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
  2. Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
  3. Fundamental understanding of database language (TSQL).
  1. Desirable skills include programming skills in Python or R, experience with Big Data tools, and data governance and compliance awareness.
