Job Title: Plater Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Plater Technician to join our team at a major refinery in Southampton. As a Plater Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to plate repair and fabrication.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Use oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
* Set out, mark, and cut steel plate
* Repair heat distorted steel plate
* Perform plate, pipe, channel, and bracket repairs
* Conduct MMA welding on mild steel plate

**Requirements:**

* Hold a CCNSG card
* Possess a NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
* Have experience working on industrial sites, such as power stations, refineries, and steelworks
* Obtain a DBS check
