Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team at Amber Labs. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines and architectures in Azure.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate various data sources, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Manage cloud data platforms and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement data storage solutions like Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Database.
  • Continuously optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and monitor the health of data pipelines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement robust data models.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with governance, security, and compliance standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data engineering roles with a focus on Microsoft Azure services.
  • Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Privacy, and best practices for managing sensitive data in a highly regulated environment.
