We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Claims Negotiator to join our team at Brook Street. As a Trainee Claims Negotiator, you will play a key role in managing and settling caseloads of uninsured loss and civil damages claims for a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and settle caseloads of uninsured loss and civil damages claims for corporate, institutional, and public sector organisations.
- Handle claims from sectors such as road and rail, personal injury, emergency services, commercial property, and street lighting.
- Be a key point of contact for clients, managing accounts, data reporting, and providing excellent customer service.
- Undertake general office duties such as managing inbound/outbound calls and organising files.
- Based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs, ideally including English and Maths.
- A strong communicator with confident written and spoken skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly understand technical terminology.
- Prior experience in an office setting is essential, with any claims, insurance, or legal background considered a plus.
- Full, comprehensive training to help you succeed in your new role.
- Competitive salary: £23,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing to 25 days with length of service.
